Recommended in countersunk holes so that the head of the rivet nut matches the application.

Same use as in the previous nut but without the need to perform a countersunk hole or where the very thin thickness does not allow a countersink.
Not recommended for the use as in fig. 1 because it would risk a condition such as fig. 2.
